The Logansport Art Association 1st Annual Plein Air event will be held on September 6, 2025 rain or shine. It is an event that will draw in tourism, bring attention to our art community, showcase Logansport’s landmarks, and bring plein air painting to our quaint country town with big town aspirations.
Early registration for the event is open; and, will cost non-LAA members $30, LAA members $20, and juniors $15. The fee on the day of the event will be $35 for non-LAA members, $25 for LAA members, and juniors will be $20. All fees will be considered income for the LAA. They can be paid on the day of the event or online through PayPal at loganart1911@gmail.com. The LAA will set up to receive registrations, stamp canvases, and pass out goody bags at 7:30am through 10:00am in front of the LAA. Parking can be at the LAA, across the street in the larger parking lot, or on the street.
Artists must bring their completed, framed, and ready to hang pieces to the LAA anytime before 4:00pm. Artwork will be displayed on easels and available for sale from 4:00-5:00pm in the parking lot. The award ceremony will take place in front of the LAA at 5:00pm. After that, interested artists may submit their pieces to the LAA for a period of 20 days for the September Heritage show. The reception and collection will be on September 25th starting at 5:30pm and awards at 6:00pm.
